Wheels and Rims
Here at Coastal Powder Coating we powder coat Automotive Wheels / Rims on a weekly basis. We ask our customers to ensure that all tyres, weights, rubber and plastic have been removed prior to dropping them off.
The Steel Rims are placed in our burner oven to remove any previous coatings. We then sandblast them, prime them to give an anti corrosion protection and then powder coat them.
The Alloy Rims are placed in our chemical stripping tank to remove any previous coatings. They are then treated in our acid and chromate tanks and then powder coated.
All of these services will ensure that your rims will pass our quality control measures before giving them back to you. This process takes roughly 7 – 10 days.
